Whitaker Fellowship

Named after the prolific 16th century Anglican churchman and theologian William Whitaker, the Whitaker Fellowship enlists students in the work of republishing classical Anglican texts for the modern age. In addition, through weekly lectures from Anglican clergy and faculty, fellows will explore the beauty of the Anglican tradition and better understand its rich historical, theological, and liturgical inheritance.

We are proud to announce our 2025 Whitaker Fellows:

Timothy Martin was born in Flint, Michigan, grew up outside of Dublin, Ireland, and reached the age of majority in Warner Robins, Georgia. He went on to study at the one school he said he would never attend, Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. During this time he participated in a pilot program for dual enrollment in graduate studies and received the 2019 Bell Prize. After graduating in 2022 with a B.A. in Ministry & Leadership, Timothy went on to complete a pastoral residency program. In 2023, Timothy moved to Detroit, Michigan to complete an M.Div at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. He loves poetry, the great outdoors, urban exploration, historical non-fiction, alt-rock, and architecture.
